You have likely heard the statement “Time is Money”. Unfortunately, that is not exactly accurate. The statement has often been associated with trading time for dollars. I mean, who really wants a job?
The fact is, our time is extremely valuable – as we only have a limited amount of it. How we choose to spend that time is certainly very important. My goal is to spend as much time doing the things I want to do, and less time with tasks that I hate.
Network Marketing provides a great opportunity to build an income that will allow me to spend more time on the things I enjoy. Obviously, if you agree with that you are likely working on strategies to build your Network Marketing opportunity big and fast so you can better enjoy your time. Let’s discuss how you can fully utilize your time and talents to build your opportunity.
Let’s talk about traffic generation, and how we better focus our time in building our business. We’ll specifically discuss outsourcing some traffic building tasks to build our Network Marketing business.
This is definitely a very pertinent question because you cannot outsource everything that your Network Marketing business entails. You have to keep the important tasks – those that require creativity and initiative – for yourself. But the jobs that require some kind of professional talent (that you may not have) can be outsourced.
For example, if you do not have the skill or the knowledge to build a website, you should give out this job to someone that can do it for you. At the same time, jobs that anyone can do, like copying addresses on labels and mailing postal letters can be outsourced because they will save you some time.
Here is a list of things that you should consider outsourcing for your Network Marketing business, and specifically your traffic generation:
Article Writing and Website Content
Article writing requires some literary skill because the words in them have to attract people to your business opportunity. If you do not have the time, inclination or the skill to do it yourself, it is best to outsource it. Article writing is still a great way to build traffic to your website or lead-capture page, and is a time-tested way to generate important back-links.
Website Building
Obviously, you can’t build traffic and exposure if you do not have an online presence. Many Network Marketing companies often provide a replicated site for their distributors, so you may not have to worry about building one. However; I always suggest having your own online presence that you own and manage.
The job of website building is most often outsourced. This is a technical job and a very time-consuming one too. The website has to be functional and also good-looking so that it does its job of catching the visitor’s attention and giving them the information that they need without much ado.
Blogging
I have often shared about the importance of blogging in traffic generation and prospect gathering. Blogging is a very time-consuming job which needs very frequent inputs (daily if you can). Tracking the various blogs where comments have been made and replying to those can be highly taxing.
So, if you are looking for things to outsource and save yourself some time, you may consider outsourcing your blogging tasks. A professional could be hired just to look into the blogging needs. This professional could also be used for social networking if you have included it in your campaign.
Sending Emails and Newsletters
Another area that you may not have the time or expertise to focus on is sending regular emails. If you are into email marketing, you will have to send useful information in the form of emails and newsletters to your leads. This job has to be done on a regular basis and has to be done very professionally, because it builds an impression of your business in the eyes of the people who read it. At the same time, you may need to send form emails from time to time informing people about their membership expiry dates and other such information. It is a good idea to have a professional handling these tasks if you do not have proper software to do this.
Lead Generation
Another possibility for your outsourcing is in gathering prospects. Perhaps you are well-suited to speak with people about your opportunity, if you can just find them to speak with. You may find that your time is better spent talking with people, and not in trying to build sites to collect names and contact info. If that’s the case, you may want to look at outsourcing your lead generation.
There are various companies around the world that will generate leads for you which you can use for your marketing campaign. They will provide both targeted leads and general leads and the charges would be different for each. Some of them will also do follow-up procedures for you.
Conclusion
I am not suggesting that you outsource everything – especially in the beginning. The most important thing is to focus on the areas that you are most gifted, and look at outsourcing the areas that can compliment what you are best at.
