Looking Beyond the Hype

If you have ever been involved with Network Marketing, you are likely familiar with hype.  To some degree, most people have been “taken-in” by carefully crafted messages that are designed to lure people into making a decision to join a particular opportunity.  These messages usually have some truth in them, but more-than-likely have more fluff content that quite honestly – exaggerates and fabricates.

Hey, that’s just the way it is – so let’s just deal with the reality and try to live in the real world!  Of course, Network Marketing hype is not much different than other traditional advertising – but, honestly, the MLM industry has created a bad image for itself by hyped-up messages that prey on people who are just looking for opportunity and “hope”.  A Gatorade advertising campaign may over-exaggerate the benefits of the product, but they are not creating victims by promising a changed life if you drink the product.

Let’s try this… How about we try to live in the REAL WORLD and look beyond the spin and hype strategy that typical Network Marketing companies deploy?   If people who are looking for a legitimate home-based income would come out of their fantasy expectations and really take the effort to peek behind the curtain of the MLM companies they are looking to join, Company Executives might just decide to give a message that has more truth than spin.  For the most part, the marketplace has created this monster by buying into the deception.  I actually believe we are beginning to see changes taking place with some courageous companies – as their is now much more scrutiny taking place with the emergence of social communities.

If You Want Traffic Learn How to Write SEO Articles

Website owners who are interested in building an effective traffic flow should look at article writing for generating interest in their opportunity.  Writing articles filled with helpful and unique content is a magnet for target prospects who are looking for exactly what you are offering.

If you are going to write an article for your site you should certainly maximize your effort and learn the skills that will drive visitors to your opportunity.   With that as the case, it is important to learn how to write SEO articles.

What are SEO articles?

SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimized” and it means that the article is written in a way that will attract the search engine spiders and result in good rankings in the search engine results.

Today, Google is the largest and most used search engine, so most people write SEO articles to Google’s preferred standards.  Writing SEO effective articles will make the other search engines happy as well.   SEO rules change from time to time as Google becomes more sophisticated, but there are a few basics that remain the same.

Meaningful keywords or keyword phrases that identify what the article is about must be selected.  Usually, three keywords are used in a single article. The primary keyword should be contained in the title of the article as well as in the first sentence of the text, as close to the front of the sentence as possible.  The secondary keyword must be contained in subsequent paragraphs of the text, as must the tertiary keyword or keyword phrase.

Throughout the article’s text, variants of the keyword or keyword phrase can be used.  For example, if you primary keyword happens to be “health” you might use the words well-being, healthiness, healthy, unhealthy, sick, ill and even healthcare are variants of the keyword.  The smarter search engines will pick this up.

Keyword placement is also important when learning how to write SEO articles.  By using the exact keyword phrase once and then using the words of the keyword phrase separated by a few other words can increase your SEO ranking.  For example, “healthcare practitioner” as a keyword phrases could also appear in the text as “healthcare providers and practitioners” and still count toward keyword density.

Optimal SEO articles usually have a keyword density of about 4% for the main keyword and 1.5% for the other keywords.  Articles with too high a keyword density will score lower on the search engine rankings than those that meet the density optimization rules.

As your articles are ranked by search engines, you’ll find that what is known as keyword spamming, packing an article full of keywords creating an abnormally high density, will result in your article failing to show up in the search results.  This is to prevent people from creating nonsense articles that are just strings of keywords.

Other penalties include trying to hide keywords by using white on white text or black on black text.  The smart search engine crawlers of today recognize this trick and it will not help with your SEO article ranking.

By learning how to write SEO articles, your web content can attract visitors to your website.  Today, web content must be valuable for people to want to visit any website, but even if you have great information but it is written in a way that the search engines will not index it and place it high in the search engine results, your information may never be read by anyone except you.
