When I first got started in [tag]Network Marketing[/tag], I had dreams of making huge checks within a few weeks of signing up. My first Sponsor recruited me into the company by telling me everything I wanted to hear – and then some. I just knew I was going to be rich, and I knew it was going to be quick.
Well, it didn’t take long for me to figure out that I had been lied to. This Network Marketing stuff wasn’t going to be as easy as I was led to believe. I made the “list†of everyone I knew, but after contacting my first 10, I was totally deflated. None of my friends were interested in joining me in my new venture, and they certainly didn’t want to sign-up for the long-distance service I was selling. I didn’t want to be humiliated any further by speaking with my family and friends, so I decided to purchase some leads. Surely, they would be better prospects for my network marketing opportunity and would probably sign up immediately. Yeah right!
After making about 15 calls, I was pretty much done. My so- called “exclusive†leads turned out to be pure garbage. They were hardly exclusive, as the leads were being contacted by 4 other [tag]Networkers[/tag].
I was totally discouraged, and ready to quit. I believe it was at that point that I decided the best way to build a home-business was to create my own source for prospects. I became quite proficient in developing prospects through effective advertising, and web marketing. As a result, I became a very successful Distributor – earning a very good income.
The more people I was able to get my ads in front of, the more people I was able to recruit into my opportunity. So, it became obvious that if I wanted to succeed in a major way, I had to get [tag]massive traffic[/tag] to my ads. I needed to find ways to funnel people to my website in vast numbers.
Simply put, traffic would be the lifeblood of my business and website. I learned as much as I could about developing traffic, and funnelling it to my opportunity. It became obvious, the more network marketing traffic I could develop, the more money I would make. It became my focus to design strategies that would create an unlimited supply of fresh prospects flowing to my site.
