Specifically, this report will be about Network Marketing.

You may want to share this report with others you recruit, as you most-likely will be bringing people into your opportunity who have never been involved with the Network Marketing industry. It is important that you train and equip them so that they can be successful.

I’ll start right off and sound “negative”. I’m certainly not trying to be negative, but I do want to give you the REALITY- and sometimes reality is tough.

Here goes..

The vast majority of people will fail with ANY opportunity they work. Obviously, there are some obvious reasons for that, many of which do NOT even involve the company or product they are working. Think about it like this… there were likely some people who started the very first day with Microsoft, but left the company because they didn’t “see” the potential. They got discouraged with the workload, or perhaps didn’t like having to learn something new. Imagine where they would be financially today if they had endured those first difficult days?

There are some things that you will need to understand and accept – so that you avoid becoming one of the statistics. The choice of whether you will succeed or fail, is entirely up to you

I’ve found that when people fail, the first thing many will do is complain that the opportunity was a failure. I’ve heard the complaint so many times… “this deal don’t work”. It drives me crazy when I hear that whining. The reality is… the opportunity didn’t fail – the person failed the opportunity.

Have you ever had anyone ask you “Is that deal you’re in working for you?”. I’ve had it asked of me countless times by people trying to determine if they want to join me in a venture. The question ALWAYS amazes me. I know that what they are really wanting to know is if I’m making any money or not, but the question exposes a MAJOR perception problem that we must learn to overcome.

When you overcome this obstacle, you will be well on your way to becoming VERY successful in Network Marketing, and more specifically, your own business.

The obstacle that you must immediately overcome is… the PERCEPTION that you don’t have to put forth an effort to earn a big income.

The reality is… YOU DO! If you are looking at an opportunity as signing-up for your piece of the “pie-in-the-sky”, you should save your money and go sit back down on the couch.

To assume that all you have to do is sign-up for a “deal” and you’ll start raking in boatloads of cash, is simply wrong. Don’t buy it, and don’t preach it!

Before I expound further, I’ve got to say this…

I’ve NEVER had a “deal work for me”! In fact, I’ve never had a job “work for me” either. I’ve always had to put forth the efforts and WORK the opportunity, or work FOR the job.

You see, unfortunately there’s a perception that Network Marketing is an easy way to get fast riches. Many people have been told that “you can get rich without doing anything”. Well, that’s completely wrong and its part of that whole “something for nothing” lazy attitude that has often plagued the industry. I think most people would love to be able to have an easy way of earning a living so they could spend more time with their families, friends, or hobbies. The fact is- Network Marketing DOES provide plenty of opportunities, but… only for those who take massive action and treat it as their business. The rewards are significant for those who invest their efforts into building a strong business.

While Network Marketing is a great way to make a huge income, it does require some EFFORTS. Get that in your mind right now, and you’ll avoid disappointment later. The best part is… your earnings are directly reflective of the effort you put forth! Unlike most jobs where a salary is usually “capped” and paid regardless of how hard you work, Network Marketing will reward you handsomely if you invest some effort in it.

Think about this…

If you work a JOB for 40 years, you can get a nice lazyboy recliner when you retire- and then get a tiny retirement check every month. With Network Marketing, you can work hard for FAR LESS TIME and also earn a nice residual monthly check… AND ENJOY IT while you are still young!

As a personal example…I worked for 20 years with an organization to reach a certain annual salary level. When I started Network Marketing (working part time), in less 13 months time, I was already making over DOUBLE what I was receiving as my full-time salary. Needless to say, I quit my job and started working for myself!

And another thing is…

With Network Marketing you also get to earn an income on the efforts of others. Most jobs certainly don’t allow that to happen, so it’s definitely a bonus with Network Marketing.

Here are some key POINTS:

1.	Understand that you will have to put forth an effort with this opportunity – doing so, will bring HUGE rewards. I built a very large 5-figure monthly part-time income because I put in CONSISTENT efforts early on. Every day, I did something to build my business- and it paid off in a MAJOR way. This is a business opportunity, not a money game.

2.	Establish a Mindset for Success and be DETERMINED to reach it. I built my first downline of 30,000+ starting with ONE person. Several times, I had the opportunity to quit… but KNEW that if I was consistent and PERSISTENT, I would succeed. A high percentage of people will quit when they are faced with a couple obstacles. We grow when we’re uncomfortable- not when things are easy. If you want to grow (a big income), be prepared to go over obstacles; jagged rocks, tall mountains, and lonely forests.

3.	Help the people in your group to succeed. If you work with them to succeed, you will be multiplying your earning potential. Their success builds your success. If you learn how to duplicate your efforts, and then teach your people how to do the same… you will see how quickly your business will grow. Duplication and leverage are major components to building a wildly successful Network Marketing income.

One other thing … here is a RULE that you need to know, and pass on to your group…

“The people you recruit will generally do EXACTLY what you do.”

If you give out product as a sample, they will do it too. If you get on autoship immediately, they will too. The seeds that are in you (whether good or bad) will be passed on and will grow throughout your group…Seeds of ABUNDANCE, as well as seeds of un-belief. Make sure you are planting a good crop!

Leverage your time and the efforts of others, and you will reap a huge financial reward!

If you have been on the planet for more than 5 minutes, you’ll probably relate to this post. Every day (actually every hour), I get an e-mail from someone who wants me to send them my money. They are pushing their product or opportunity and somehow they assume it will cure all of my pains and frustrations. They push their opportunity with hype and outright lies.

They tell me their product will enable me to run faster and jump higher (I’ve been a victim of “the pitch” for a long time), and… it will also make me rich in the process. What an incredible concept! It will heal my body, and heal my wallet – all in one swoop!

Unfortunately, most of the things I get pitched on is just plain garbage.

I’ve been involved with some great [tag-self]Network Marketing opportunities[/tag-self] that offered some legitimate products. In fact, I got involved with the company because I fell in love with the product – not because it offered an opportunity to [tag-self]earn some money[/tag-self]. The product provided a benefit that I was looking for. Once I found the benefit to be legitimate, well, a natural marketer was born. I wanted to share the product with those I love.

You see, many of the marketers who blast me with their kindergarten marketing strategy, really do not have a long-term business model. They are trying to run a marathon by trying to sprint ahead of everyone else. They have a very simple strategy of recruiting people with a “hype message”, and hope that enough will stick around so they can profit. What a waste of time!

Hype will never be a legitimate business model. It is a short-term strategy that victimizes a “quick-fix” culture. Just like the current economic collapse, it will ultimately bring failure.

Those who understand Network Marketing, know that recruits usually pattern their marketing strategy after the person who recruited them. If their sponsor recruited them with hype, they will likely use that same flawed approach to get people to join with them. The lies are perpetuated – and the credibility of the product or opportunity, is further destroyed.

If you are interested in a long-term [tag-self]residual income business[/tag-self], avoid using hype as the base for your marketing message. If you take the hype out of your marketing message and then realize you do not have anything with substance, find another opportunity and product.
