If you have spent any amount of time on this site, you know that our primary focus is to share strategies and resources to help our visitors drive traffic. The strategies can be used for any site or marketing model, but we really focus on building Network Marketing traffic.

So let’s talk about Article Marketing and specifically how the strategy is really attracting and assisting Network Marketers.

So you may have recently joined a new Network marketing opportunity and perhaps have set up a website and are ready to recruit – but visitors (prospects) are just not coming to you you thought they would. This is a key problem that a lot of Network marketing newbies face – especially if they are trying to recruit online. It’s easy to get discouraged.

Now, before you drop the whole dream, let’s evaluate the situation and start by asking a legitimate question… “how can prospects join you if they don’t even know you exist?” The answer is pretty obvious… you market and expose your business.

While that seems to be an obvious answer, the problem is many people (especially in this economy) are flat-out broke. The assumption is that marketing your website and your opportunity or product will cost money you may not have. Right? Well… not so fast.

One strategy is to use Article Marketing to get the word out. Article marketing is free (if you can do it yourself) and is one of the most effective zero-cost marketing tools that is available to you.

Forget all the marketing theory you may have come across – marketing is simply the action of creating interest in your opportunity and/or product (and your website) and article marketing is a great way to do this.

Let’s try a quick test…

Do an online search for any product or perhaps search “home based business opportunity” (this is how most people try to find things they need) and you will find articles about them high in the search results. Read these articles and you will find that those that stay in your mind are the ones that offer people quality content and good information about the products in a way that makes them feel they have learned something of value without having to go through a sales spiel.

If there is a lot of direct selling in the article the reader will think of it a merely an advertisement and will relegate it to the “spam box” in their minds that most ads go, but if he feels he has learned something from it, it will stay in his mind.

That is what you should be doing – writing articles about your product or income opportunity that give value to the reader and raise his interest to a higher level. Of course you need to promote your business interest so you can put in a few words about the fact that you can supply the product. Or, if the article format permits, you could put in a few lines about yourself and your contact details and invite people who want to know more (potential prospects) to contact you for more information.

Keep putting out these articles regularly and soon you will have people out there who will remember the information you have given them and who you are. Who do you think they will contact when they decide to join? You, of course.

There are a large number of ezines and sites you can post your articles on. Many are free and some of which you will have to pay for; but the important thing to always remember is that your competition will be doing the same thing so the quality of what you offer will determine how successful your article marketing efforts are.

Make your articles compelling, but most important – be yourself. Remember, Network Marketing is about building relationships and your article may be the first introduction to your new business partner.

Writing good quality articles is an excellent way to create traffic generation. If you take time to do a little research on what is currently a hot topic in the marketplace, you can build an extreme flow of traffic to your site.

Obviously, you are a websites owner who has been looking for ways to increase your website traffic. Of course, you are not alone.

Each year, millions of website owners wonder why their website didn’t see more traffic. Instead of wondering, you are urged to take action. After all, there are a number of different ways that you can go about increasing the traffic that your website sees. The good news is that a number of these ways, which include article distribution, are relatively easy to implement.

Despite being easy to implement, the rewards may be immeasurable.

Article distribution is an internet marketing technique that is used by many webmasters. Regardless of being a relativity popular marketing tactic, there are still many webmasters who are unfamiliar with article distribution. If you are one of those business owners, you will want to read on. Taking the time to familiarize yourself with article writing and distribution could be your an extremely valuable investment.

Article distribution involves the use of websites that are known as article directories. Article directories are websites that host a large collection of articles. To make finding and reading those articles easier, most article directories place each of their articles into categories. Popular categories include education, business, automobiles, and travel. In each article, the writer is able to create a link to one of their websites. That link is often accompanied by background information on the website in question or the webmaster. Each time one of your links is clicked, internet users will be directed to your website. This connection will increase the amount of traffic your website sees and it may also help to increase the amount of profit it generates.

Although article distribution is a nice and easy way to generate website traffic, it is one that needs to be handled properly. If not handled correctly, you may essentially end up wasting your time. The first step in using article directories to your advantage is focusing on a topic that you would like to write about. For the best success, you will want to write on a topic or an issue that is, in one way or another, related to the website readers will be directed to. Any article may increase the traffic that your website sees, but if you rely on internet
sales, you will need to go a step further. For instance, if you are selling a service, such as an answering service, you may want your article to focus on the benefits of using an answering service.

Once you have determine what the main topic or focus of your articles will be, you will then need to examine how you will write them. If you find yourself having a difficult time figuring out what to write, you may want to think about creating yourself an outline. An outline will act as a guide for you. An outline will not only help you know what to write, but it will also help to ensure that you do not leave out any important
information.

Once you have created yourself an outline, you can begin to start writing. When doing so, it is important that you keep your content interesting and easy to read. Be cautious of using technical words that many internet users will not understand.

Although your first thought may be to create informational articles, you want to be cautious of providing too much information. You need your readers to click on your links, to get to your website. If your article is too informative, they may already have found what they needed, thus the needed for visiting your website may have been eliminated. You will want to leave your readers wanting more information.

After your article has been compiled and thoroughly proofread, you will want to submit it to the article directories of your choice. Although you might assume that your job is done after this point, it isn’t or at least it shouldn’t be. Article distribution is a great way to generate traffic, but it needs to be done on occasion. In fact, article distribution should be done on a regular basis. You may want to set a goal for yourself, like submitting at least five articles a month or even
more. This will help to ensure that your readers are always given new, updated information to read and absorb. In fact, the more articles you distribute the more links you will create.

Bottom line…Article directories welcome your content with open arms. In exchange with providing them with free content, you will be getting free links to your own website; thus increasing its traffic.

When it comes to making a sell using your autoresponder, follow up messages are very important. Most website visitors won’t buy something on the first visit; it normally takes more than 6 or 7 visits before they decide to make a purchase. To keep them interested and eventually make the sale, you’ll need to come up with some innovative yet captivating follow up messages.

When you start writing your message, you’ll need to come up with compelling headlines. Compelling headlines will draw attention from readers, making them feel excited to read the rest of your message. If you send a message with a shoddy headline, chances are that your readers will just glance over the email and not pay much attention to it at all.

You can also grab attention from your readers by sending them personalized messages with their names and other details. There are several autoresponders that personalize messages through the insertion of codes. When you send a message out, the code is replaced with the personal information of the subscriber. When receiving the email, the reader will see his or her personal information instead of the code.

The first message that you send out is normally an introduction message. This message should be geared towards giving readers what to expect from your messages. You can also mention information about your company and your products as well. Your introduction message is very important, as it sets the pace for the messages that follow.

When you send out your second message, you should inform readers about your products and services. Make sure that you explain what your products do and how your readers can benefit from using them. Then, in the messages that follow, you should put added emphasis on your services and products. You should be trying to convince readers that they simply must have your products and that your products are a cut above the rest.
To ensure that you get a sale, you should include comparisons between what you offer and what competitors offer. This way, you’ll show potential customers that you are indeed the best, with the best features and the best prices. Once you have a few satisfied customers, you’ll start to build up your credibility. If a customer is satisfied, he will let you and others know. Once a customer has praised your products, you can add it to a testimonial and send it out in a future follow up message.

When you end a message, make sure that you leave a teaser for the next message. This way, your customers will look forward to receiving your next message. You should also carefully weave in messages regarding your contact and order information as well, so readers can place an order without any problems. If you put some time and thought into your follow up messages – you’ll start racking up customers and sales in no time at all.
