Can my traffic count really hit a million visitors?

April 11, 2008 by Joseph · Leave a Comment

Okay, now I’m getting concerned. With all the traffic I am now getting from my test, I’m wondering if my server can handle the load! Certainly I’m thrilled, but I also wonder if this traffic load is going to burn up my server.

When I started this test, I was a skeptic. I’m certainly not a novice at this traffic generation game, so I thought the claims had to be hype. I mean, c’mon, a million visitors? Get real.

Well, now I’m not so sure it’s hype. From what I’ve seen so far (without any advertising on my part), I believe it really is possible to get a million visitors. From the time I started this little test, my traffic count has doubled, doubled again, and doubled again. That’s exponential growth!

The best part is, it’s all free and takes about 2 minutes to set up.  Here’s the tag line that got me started.  Click it and see for yourself … Send me 1 Million Free Visitors!

I’m still testing the conversion percentage, and will let you know the results.

Pretty impressive Traffic Generating results

As mentioned in my last post I have been conducting a brief test on a free Traffic Generating system.   I must admit that I’m a bit surprised by the level of success I’ve achieved in getting traffic to my site.

In fact, since I did zero advertising except for the short write-up on this blog, I’m actually quite impressed with the [tag-tec]Traffic Generating results[/tag-tec].   I’m actually considering a strong advertising campaign to really see what type of traffic I can get to my site using this free system.

Since I first registered for the free system, the traffic count to my site has more than quadrupled.  I have verified the unique visitor results through my traffic logs, and have also measured an increase in opt-ins for the sign-up page.  I have to concur that the results are valid for visitors and conversions.

I will do further tests to again validate the quality of traffic before I wholly endorse the traffic generating system.  While I’m not totally convinced with the results at this time, I will continue to monitor and report on what I’m finding.

I do invite my visitors to give it a try for themselves.  Since there is no cost, it certainly does not hurt to take 3 minutes to register and get started with your site.

A couple rules for bringing traffic to your website with content

September 18, 2007 by Joseph · 1 Comment

To build a stable flow of traffic to our website, the first thing we need to know is - Content is KING.  Actually, let me be a little more specific and say, [tag-tec]EXCLUSIVE content is king[/tag-tec].

Simply throwing up random information that is taken from another site, is just not going to produce excellent traffic generating results.  Visitors appreciate fresh information that is unique and creative.  Search Engines reward sites that offer genuine content, and fresh perspective.

Here are a few things to consider as you focus on writing interesting content for your site.

Know your readers. This is the number one rule about writing content for your website!  Do you know what kind of traffic you’re drawing into your website?  Do you know what they’re looking for?  Have you any idea where they’re located, and how they found you?

If you want easy traffic, you need to fully understand a key element in writing interesting content for your website visitors… “Find the “hot button” of your site visitors so that you can push it again and again.”

The more you connect with your visitors, the more times they will visit.  Keeping your visitors coming will often depend heavily on the kind of content you publish on your website.  So, do a little bit of homework by either asking around, or implement site tools that help you track your site visitors.

Keep in the loop. There’s nothing more important than knowing your niche well enough to keep your visitors coming back for more quality information.  Keep in the loop on what is happening within the niche.  Some ways to stay informed may be to:  Do a simple search through your favorite search engine, surf through websites, check the news.  By all means, if you find a website interesting bookmark it or subscribe to the RSS feed or newsletter.  This way, whenever the website have something new, you’ll be the first to know.  It’s important to keep yourself updated as much as possible.

Guest writers. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with publishing another person’s content as long as you think your site readers will like it.  But if you publish another person’s content, remember to ask their permission.  You can often find good information in article directories, but just remember that the article is being shared by many other sites.  If you publish another writers work, I suggest that you share a couple paragraphs of commentary.  It’s important to write something interesting, unique and most importantly ORIGINAL.
