If you have spent any amount of time on this site, you know that our primary focus is to share strategies and resources to help our visitors drive traffic. The strategies can be used for any site or marketing model, but we really focus on building Network Marketing traffic.

So let’s talk about Article Marketing and specifically how the strategy is really attracting and assisting Network Marketers.

So you may have recently joined a new Network marketing opportunity and perhaps have set up a website and are ready to recruit – but visitors (prospects) are just not coming to you you thought they would. This is a key problem that a lot of Network marketing newbies face – especially if they are trying to recruit online. It’s easy to get discouraged.

Now, before you drop the whole dream, let’s evaluate the situation and start by asking a legitimate question… “how can prospects join you if they don’t even know you exist?” The answer is pretty obvious… you market and expose your business.

While that seems to be an obvious answer, the problem is many people (especially in this economy) are flat-out broke. The assumption is that marketing your website and your opportunity or product will cost money you may not have. Right? Well… not so fast.

One strategy is to use Article Marketing to get the word out. Article marketing is free (if you can do it yourself) and is one of the most effective zero-cost marketing tools that is available to you.

Forget all the marketing theory you may have come across – marketing is simply the action of creating interest in your opportunity and/or product (and your website) and article marketing is a great way to do this.

Let’s try a quick test…

Do an online search for any product or perhaps search “home based business opportunity” (this is how most people try to find things they need) and you will find articles about them high in the search results. Read these articles and you will find that those that stay in your mind are the ones that offer people quality content and good information about the products in a way that makes them feel they have learned something of value without having to go through a sales spiel.

If there is a lot of direct selling in the article the reader will think of it a merely an advertisement and will relegate it to the “spam box” in their minds that most ads go, but if he feels he has learned something from it, it will stay in his mind.

That is what you should be doing – writing articles about your product or income opportunity that give value to the reader and raise his interest to a higher level. Of course you need to promote your business interest so you can put in a few words about the fact that you can supply the product. Or, if the article format permits, you could put in a few lines about yourself and your contact details and invite people who want to know more (potential prospects) to contact you for more information.

Keep putting out these articles regularly and soon you will have people out there who will remember the information you have given them and who you are. Who do you think they will contact when they decide to join? You, of course.

There are a large number of ezines and sites you can post your articles on. Many are free and some of which you will have to pay for; but the important thing to always remember is that your competition will be doing the same thing so the quality of what you offer will determine how successful your article marketing efforts are.

Make your articles compelling, but most important – be yourself. Remember, Network Marketing is about building relationships and your article may be the first introduction to your new business partner.

With the ever-changing traffic building strategies that are available, the challenge might be the amount of time you have to focus on your business opportunity. If your goal is to build a huge prospecting funnel, you may want to consider using ghostwriters to keep the content flowing to your traffic funnel. It can be an easy solution to saving time and helping you focus on your overall recruiting goals.

It is especially important if you operate a large blog with a considerable readership. Using ghostwriters to write content for you can be a great solution to keeping your visitor count high. The major advantage to hiring a ghostwriter is that it frees you up to do the things you do best, such as marketing, product-creation, or administrative work.

Using ghostwriters to write content for you can also be quite beneficial if you can find some who are experts on whichever subject you are blogging about. For instance, if you are blogging about sauces, you may actually be able to find someone who has attended a culinary school and can write excellent articles and homeade recipes for sauce on your blog.

Of course, you want to make certain the ghostwriter will offer the quality and expertise that you expect for your site readers. The last thing you will want is poor quality information that will push visitors away from your site.

In most cases, using ghostwriters to write content for you will entail some sort of contractual obligation. For instance, if you hire someone from guru.com or elance.com, you will have to post a project and then specifically select one of the project applications to complete the project for you. They (the writers) may require you to pay a deposit upfront – and Guru or Elance will require you to pay some sort of fee for using them as a labor market intermediary.

The largest challenge to using ghostwriters to write content for you is that they are often somewhat unpredictable – at least until you have developed a long-lasting relationship. For instance, you may hire a ghostwriter and then find out that he or she never responds to you after receiving the deposit. You may also find that the ghostwriter will plagiarize portions of the work and will take off if you question him about it. All of these are important potential problems to consider when using ghostwriters to write content for you.

In summary, it using ghostwriters to write content for you can be quite beneficial for your blog – regardless of the subject – but if you don’t have a reasonable means to protect yourself against plagiarism and to pay the writer without putting yourself at risk, it may be somewhat of a hassle until you find the right writer.

While some people waste their time looking for a magic potion traffic system or some push-button spam trick, you can be hammering your servers with real visitors. The reality is, gone are the days that you can simply throw up a website and have people fumbling over themselves to signup for your stuff. People want to know that you are the real deal, otherwise they won’t waste their time visiting your site.

So, let’s just go over a simple and general scenario…

You’re trying to make sure that more people know about your business, and that you have more of an online presence. This means you’ll need to find professionals that know how to write marketing articles for your business. When you own a blog or small business website, article marketing will help you to promote the goods and products that you’re selling. However, you’ll need to make sure that the articles you write are strong and ‘searchable’, and if you can’t hire a writer, here are some tips for doing it yourself.

When you write marketing articles, you should choose a subject that you know you’re familiar with. This way, your writing will be much more believable and the articles will be easy for the public to read. Make sure that you’re considering your audience as well. This way, you will choose your writing style carefully, and will pull in the desired amount of readers.

You’ll also need to be consistent and informative when you write marketing articles. Don’t fill up your article with random information that doesn’t have a whole lot to do with your original subject. Engage the audience by making your article easy to understand, but include some less well-known facts to show that you’ve done your research on the subject. You may even want to do an outline of your article, so that you can stay on subject. The goal of your article is to leave the reader wanting to know more. This way, each time you post a marketing article on the Web, you’ll get new followers each time.

Don’t forget to create a website for yourself as well when you write marketing articles. This way, you can provide your reader with more information about your writing qualifications (which will increase when you get more practice). You should include a bio about yourself on your website, so that readers can get an idea of your qualifications and will want to know more about your business. If you leave a space on your website or articles for people to leave feedback, make sure that you respond to those that leave comments on your site. This gives people the impression that you appreciate the fact that they’ve taken time to read your Web material.

When you write marketing articles, it is also very important that you select primary and secondary keywords for your articles. This will make it easy for people to find your written work, and will increase your popularity with search engines. To get started writing articles today, look at some of the other posts on the Network Marketing Traffic blog, or you can check out free blog sites like Blogger.com and WordPress for more details.

If you are trying to drive traffic and gain prospects, you need to pay attention. Your content may be killing you.

The easy part when it comes to blogging is finding information about the product or service that you are advertising or suggesting to your readers. You may have the greatest website on the planet and you are selling an item that makes the light bulb look like the stone wheel. The problem begins to arise when you begin writing your blog posts about these items. You can find information on the internet about what it is you are selling but you cannot take it word for word and place it in your blog. That is called plagiarism and it can land you in serious hot water.

The problem facing today’s article writers and bloggers is content. Many people do not even take the time to rewrite product descriptions or change articles to where the content is unique. They then submit these blurbs or blog posts to article directories so they can get back links to their webpage. The huge problem is that most of the popular directories have a plagiarism checker and very, very strict rules about having 100% unique content. If your article is a mish mash of stolen wording many of these directories will reject you due to duplicate content or plagiarism. That looks incredibly bad on you. It is even worse if the original authors find out.

The key is writing, or having someone else write, 100% unique content. You need to write your blog or blurb to where it is free from plagiarism. That means not lifting content from different places and just changing one word. You need to look at the material, summarize it in your mind and then write something new from the information you have gleamed. Yes, the other page helped inspire you and gave you information but the blog you write is all your own. You can then you a customized service that puts your blogs out there and gives you back links to your own webpage. You usually have to write a 100 word blurb to go with it but that is child’s play for you once you have writing the actual blogs down to a science.

It just cannot be stressed enough that unique content is the true seller on the Internet. You want your website and blog to stand out from the crowd. You do not want to be repeating the same information that you find on article directories. If you can convey the information in a new way you will engage readers and get their attention. And that is how you make money in this day and age. You having 100% unique content is the actual backbone of your entire infrastructure. The only problem is, creating unique content is time consuming and hard work. Not to mention, promoting your blog, getting backlinks and traffic also required a lot of heavy lifting. Well, not necessarily. You see, a quick visit to http://blogblueprint.com/go.php?offer=tobody&pid=1 may be the perfect solution to your needs.

Writing good quality articles is an excellent way to create traffic generation. If you take time to do a little research on what is currently a hot topic in the marketplace, you can build an extreme flow of traffic to your site.

Obviously, you are a websites owner who has been looking for ways to increase your website traffic. Of course, you are not alone.

Each year, millions of website owners wonder why their website didn’t see more traffic. Instead of wondering, you are urged to take action. After all, there are a number of different ways that you can go about increasing the traffic that your website sees. The good news is that a number of these ways, which include article distribution, are relatively easy to implement.

Despite being easy to implement, the rewards may be immeasurable.

Article distribution is an internet marketing technique that is used by many webmasters. Regardless of being a relativity popular marketing tactic, there are still many webmasters who are unfamiliar with article distribution. If you are one of those business owners, you will want to read on. Taking the time to familiarize yourself with article writing and distribution could be your an extremely valuable investment.

Article distribution involves the use of websites that are known as article directories. Article directories are websites that host a large collection of articles. To make finding and reading those articles easier, most article directories place each of their articles into categories. Popular categories include education, business, automobiles, and travel. In each article, the writer is able to create a link to one of their websites. That link is often accompanied by background information on the website in question or the webmaster. Each time one of your links is clicked, internet users will be directed to your website. This connection will increase the amount of traffic your website sees and it may also help to increase the amount of profit it generates.

Although article distribution is a nice and easy way to generate website traffic, it is one that needs to be handled properly. If not handled correctly, you may essentially end up wasting your time. The first step in using article directories to your advantage is focusing on a topic that you would like to write about. For the best success, you will want to write on a topic or an issue that is, in one way or another, related to the website readers will be directed to. Any article may increase the traffic that your website sees, but if you rely on internet
sales, you will need to go a step further. For instance, if you are selling a service, such as an answering service, you may want your article to focus on the benefits of using an answering service.

Once you have determine what the main topic or focus of your articles will be, you will then need to examine how you will write them. If you find yourself having a difficult time figuring out what to write, you may want to think about creating yourself an outline. An outline will act as a guide for you. An outline will not only help you know what to write, but it will also help to ensure that you do not leave out any important
information.

Once you have created yourself an outline, you can begin to start writing. When doing so, it is important that you keep your content interesting and easy to read. Be cautious of using technical words that many internet users will not understand.

Although your first thought may be to create informational articles, you want to be cautious of providing too much information. You need your readers to click on your links, to get to your website. If your article is too informative, they may already have found what they needed, thus the needed for visiting your website may have been eliminated. You will want to leave your readers wanting more information.

After your article has been compiled and thoroughly proofread, you will want to submit it to the article directories of your choice. Although you might assume that your job is done after this point, it isn’t or at least it shouldn’t be. Article distribution is a great way to generate traffic, but it needs to be done on occasion. In fact, article distribution should be done on a regular basis. You may want to set a goal for yourself, like submitting at least five articles a month or even
more. This will help to ensure that your readers are always given new, updated information to read and absorb. In fact, the more articles you distribute the more links you will create.

Bottom line…Article directories welcome your content with open arms. In exchange with providing them with free content, you will be getting free links to your own website; thus increasing its traffic.

If you are going to write an article for your site you should certainly maximize your effort and learn the skills that will drive visitors to your opportunity. With that as the case, it is important to learn how to write SEO articles.

What are SEO articles?

SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimized” and it means that the article is written in a way that will attract the search engine spiders and result in good rankings in the search engine results.

Today, Google is the largest and most used search engine, so most people write SEO articles to Google’s preferred standards. Writing SEO effective articles will make the other search engines happy as well. SEO rules change from time to time as Google becomes more sophisticated, but there are a few basics that remain the same.

Meaningful keywords or keyword phrases that identify what the article is about must be selected. Usually, three keywords are used in a single article. The primary keyword should be contained in the title of the article as well as in the first sentence of the text, as close to the front of the sentence as possible. The secondary keyword must be contained in subsequent paragraphs of the text, as must the tertiary keyword or keyword phrase.

Throughout the article’s text, variants of the keyword or keyword phrase can be used. For example, if you primary keyword happens to be “health” you might use the words well-being, healthiness, healthy, unhealthy, sick, ill and even healthcare are variants of the keyword. The smarter search engines will pick this up.

Keyword placement is also important when learning how to write SEO articles. By using the exact keyword phrase once and then using the words of the keyword phrase separated by a few other words can increase your SEO ranking. For example, “healthcare practitioner” as a keyword phrases could also appear in the text as “healthcare providers and practitioners” and still count toward keyword density.

Optimal SEO articles usually have a keyword density of about 4% for the main keyword and 1.5% for the other keywords. Articles with too high a keyword density will score lower on the search engine rankings than those that meet the density optimization rules.

As your articles are ranked by search engines, you’ll find that what is known as keyword spamming, packing an article full of keywords creating an abnormally high density, will result in your article failing to show up in the search results. This is to prevent people from creating nonsense articles that are just strings of keywords.

Other penalties include trying to hide keywords by using white on white text or black on black text. The smart search engine crawlers of today recognize this trick and it will not help with your SEO article ranking.

By learning how to write SEO articles, your web content can attract visitors to your website. Today, web content must be valuable for people to want to visit any website, but even if you have great information but it is written in a way that the search engines will not index it and place it high in the search engine results, your information may never be read by anyone except you.

One way to break into writing web content that is SEO is to sign up for one of the many services online that allow buyers to post projects and allow providers to bid on the projects. There are quite a number of great services out there which you can locate by searching the Internet. These services usually charge a small monthly fee for membership and require payment of a percentage of each project, but this can give you the break into writing that you need for your SEO web content. How to choose the right one for you is simply a task of reviewing the choices and selecting one that feels right for your needs. Some services focus on certain types of writing while others accept any writing projects.

You can also break into writing SEO web content by teaming with a business that designs websites. Most websites need content, and frequently the person who is developing the website doesn’t want to write the text. In fact, they may be great with designing a beautiful web page, but their grammar might not be the best.

Perhaps the website owner doesn’t want to write dozens of articles to populate their SEO website and either the website designer or the owner will hire you to write the content for them.

Once you get your first client, you’ll want to request permission to show your work to other prospective clients. By showing others that you can truly write compelling SEO content, your web client base will grow quickly. Word of mouth is often the best advertising and clients will refer clients if you work is timely, consistently great and priced affordably.

Now that you know how to break into writing SEO web content, it’s up to you to take action. Search for a service that will connect you to people needing your writing skills. Be careful not to over-schedule your workload so that you can always provide quality products to you clients on time. Many clients will return again and again.

In the current highly-competitive marketplace, it is extremely important to have good quality content on your blogs, and in the articles you submit to directories. The more unique and informative the information, the more interest you will see from your readers. If you are wanting floods of visitors and traffic to your site, you should always strive to provide exclusive and high-quality information.

In the articles you submit to article directories, having excellent information will also increase the likelihood that readers will click any links that you reference in the article. It will especially benefit the link you share in the resource box.

Obviously, the goal is to increase traffic and exposure of your opportunity to the readers, so the extra effort you take in sharing unique information will pay huge rewards. You will not only get more traffic, but likely will have an increase in prospects.

You see, in addition to getting more traffic to your site, sharing quality content will also enhance your reputation as an authority on the subject you are writing on. Remember, your readers are looking for relevant information – so they will want to find the most reliable person they can to share that information. Brand yourself as an authority and you’ll not only get traffic- you will also build a following.

Writing articles for web content can be particularly challenging if you are trying to hit a particular keyword density. My advice would be to write a natural flowing article that the reader will follow. If you write informative and well-researched articles, they will not only drive traffic to your website, but will also provide the reader with well written and interesting content that will bring them to your site repeatedly. Below are some tips to help you in writing well-received articles.

First, determine what visitors to your website will be interested in reading. If you have a website about football, then writing about the NFL and College football might be an important topic. You may also want to offer tips on handicapping the games, biographies on the players as well as many other areas of interest to the football fan. Knowing who you readers are and what they want to read is essential in writing articles that will draw traffic to your site.

Secondly, even though you want to write web articles using keywords that will be picked up by the search engines, you will want to write articles which are well written to grab the visitor attention. Be careful to provide information that isn’t so keyword inflated that the reader has no interest in the information that is in the article. Obviously, it is important for the written piece to keep a reader’s attention by providing insight and information, or perhaps wit and humor when needed. Staying on the article topic throughout the writing and making sure to deliver the point is very important.

Third, you need to know why the readers would want to come to your website in the first place. Obviously, whatever niche you are targeting in your article, should have some relevance to the website. Visitors get annoyed and will likely not visit again, if they visit a website on Budget Travel, only to find an article written on Home Gardens. If you have things you want to say in an article, find a way to tie it into the site niche.

Fourth, if you are trying to sell the reader of the article something once they get to the site then you need to have a couple of written articles (or perhaps reviews) that will practically sell the item or items for you in a less-than-obvious way. For example, if you sell football jerseys on the website, find a way to mention jerseys in your articles on football. This form of sales copy is extremely effective, and will not make your visitor feel as though you are only interested in them to make a purchase.

Finally, remember, a keyword stuffed article might drive traffic to your site but visitors will quickly leave if they find an article which is poorly written with an obvious attempt to manipulate search engines. You will get plenty of Search Engine keyword love if you write an informative article on your subject matter. Again, the important thing is that you have a website which offers well-researched articles that are captivating to the reader. Good information will keep your visitors coming back for more, and make them far more likely to do business with you.

If you are looking to build more traffic to your opportunity, try writing. If you understand the basic components of writing good content, you’ll be amazed at the amount of traffic you can generate.

So the big question is; are you an article writer? If so, what type of articles do you write? When this question is asked, the subject matter isn’t really being sought after, rather they way that you write.

Do you write interesting articles; articles that your readers can’t wait to finish reading? Or do you write traditional, boring articles; articles that your readers may not even finish reading?

If you answered traditional boring articles or even a collection of them both, you may want to reexamine the way that you write. If you are wanting to generate traffic from your writing, you must make the content appealing and exciting. After all, it isn’t a secret that readers actually like to enjoy what they read.

It is extremely important that you write captivating content.

As it was mentioned above, the subject of your articles isn’t as important as the way that your articles are written, but it is still important. For that reason, you will want to write articles that interest you, but also ones that will draw in readers; readers from all walks of life. You’ll get a flood of site visitors if you write about topics that are hot in the news, or perhaps even controversial.

The best way to come up with these article subjects is to use the internet to your advantage. After all, the internet is likely where your articles will be published.

To find “hot topics,” to write about, you will want to use keyword research tools, search engines, news websites, and shopping websites. When it comes to finding “hot topics,” these are your best sources of information. Once you have found an interesting and popular topic to write about, you
can then focus on the way that your article is written.

The goal of any article writer is to have their article read and loved by readers; however, there are some cases where this is more important than others. Many internet users, namely webmasters use articles to create back-links to their websites. These back-links are used increase website traffic.

The only problem is that many article directories only allow links at the
end of an article. This means for you to benefit from article distribution and back-linking, your readers must make it to the end of your article. If you are a webmaster who is using this technique, it is extremely important that you go the extra mile to ensure that your articles are interesting and easy to read.

Speaking of interesting, the best way to determine whether or not your article is interesting is if you like it. After you have created your article, you will need to proofread it. After you have thoroughly proofread your article, you are urged to review it one more time. This time, you will want to examine it as a reader, not the article writer. If you find your content dry, dull, or boring, there is a good chance that your readers will as well.

An article that is easy to read is also important. You can write a captivating article, but if it difficult to read, it won’t do you any good.

When it comes to easy to read articles, grammar is an important component. Whether you are planning on selling your articles, using them for your own personal use, or submitting them to article directories, you need to take the time to proofread your articles. Many internet users claim that the number one turn off is articles that are poorly written. There is no quicker way to lose a reader than to have an article that is poorly proofread.

In conjunction with readable articles, grammar wise, it is also important that you examine the words that you use. To sound professional, many article writers use big, technical sounding words. This is okay to do is some cases, but it is typically advised against. The only time that you should use big, technical words if you are writing an article that will be read
by experts in the same field.

The second biggest turn off for readers is content that regularly contains words they do not know or understand. In a way, this is similar to creating dry, boring content. If your readers cannot understand exactly what
you mean, they may find reading your article to be useless or a waste of their time.

The best way to write captivating articles is to write from your heart. When it comes to article writing, even just a little bit of creativity can go a long way. Creativity is what can turn an otherwise boring article into one that your readers will not only enjoy reading, but one that they may also recommend to others.
