Do traffic tricks really work?

March 24, 2008 by Joseph · 1 Comment

I’ve been researching [tag-tec]traffic generation systems[/tag-tec] for quite a while.  When I first started generating traffic to my opportunity sites, I realized there are a lot of fads and gimicks out there.  In fact, I spent thousands of dollars on tricks that promised thousands of “hits” to my site.  I generated thousands of hits, but they were total garbage.  Basically, someone used a clever script to generate a click to my site line, and there was never a visitor.  What a waste.

I have also tried other methods to really find quality traffic that is legitimate.  I’ve been able to [tag]generate millions of visitors[/tag] in traffic, which has earned me quite a bit of money from my opportunities.  When you get right down to the bottom line, the more traffic you get to your websites, the more money you are going to make.  Of course, I’m talking about REAL traffic and REAL visitors.

Since I have spent thousands of dollars (foolishly) on gimmicks and bogus traffic, I advise my students to never purchase hits or visitors from hyped up sites that make all sorts of promises.  If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

Now, while I’ve taken a pretty hard stance against “traffic exchanges”, or other sites that charge for traffic referrals, I do want to be open-minded and test legit sites and systems.  There are always new technologies and systems being developed, and I want to stay in the loop of traffic generation.  If nothing else, I want to know what is available to generate thousands of visitors to my site.  With that said, I’m testing a new system that is starting to get a little attention on the net.

In fact, I’d like to have you test it with me.  If you have been a regular visitor to my site, you know I never promote this type of traffic system – so this is a first.  I’m not making any claims to how well it will do, but it does look promising.  In fact, I am personal friends with the partner who created the script.  He tells me this is the real deal, and he highly endorses it.  I don’t know, but I do know my friend is signing up tens of thousands of people – so, I’m curious to see how it works.

Test this traffic system with me.  Go to the following link and register.  It’s totally free, so you obviously have nothing to lose:  Click here to get 1 Million Guaranteed Real Visitors, FREE!

I’ll give a report of the findings of my test.

Easy Traffic Resources and Tools

March 18, 2008 by Joseph · Leave a Comment

I’ve shared many of the free or low-cost resources that I use for building [tag]massive traffic[/tag] to my website(s) and Opportunity web pages.  BelowEasy Traffic Systems is a list of available resources to assist you in developing [tag]traffic flow[/tag].

Within our [tag]Easy Traffic Course[/tag] membership, we will be sharing additional reports and tutorials soon.

The link will be followed by a short description so that you can begin using them toward your marketing and prospecting.

This is going to be really big. It’s also going to be beneficial to you because you can create your own social network of people interested in your product/service/downline. What once was limited to most companies such as Youtube.com, Myspace.com, and other social sites, is now free for the average person to build their own online community.

Ning will allow you to blog, post videos, and recruit members to your social site. Also, it will allow these members (who sign up for a profile at YOUR Ning site) to contribute as well. This gives interactivity between users, and the ability to market to a community as a whole, which can sustain itself with relative ease.

As you’ve probably learned through other tutorials, getting your blogs noticed is about giving good information and content, as well as getting your users to add you to various bookmarking sites. SpircyPage is a service that allows you to submit your blog/site for peer review and ratings. The higher the ratings, the more traffic you get.

SpicyPage allows you to place a widget onto your site that gives your readers the ability to vote for it, increasing your popularity. This is a great new tool to add to your blog.

This is an incredible tool for you to use. The only thing that is difficult with this service is that you have to set up accounts for each of the bookmarking sites. However, the upside of this is that you can bookmark your pages on the web (building up your search engine ranking) in less than 20 minutes after initial sign up.

This is an semi-automated service which will allow you to actually bookmark to over 25 social bookmarking sites. This site is highly recommended. If you want high quality links back, then you need to go to SocialMarker.

Blogging to fame is much like SpicyPage, but if you want recognition on one of the more popular social blogging sites, then you need to place Blogging to Fame on your blog. This is a great way to become an authority in your market, as well as get a good deal more traffic.

Technorati tags can be a hassle when you try to write the html coding for each tag. But this tool is a great free tool that will help you generate tags easily and quickly. It’s as easy as copy and pasting the code right into your blogs.

It’s very important to know where you’re traffic is coming from. It’s also extremely important to know where your traffic is going, and how much traffic you’re getting. To do that, you need a site meter or tracker. Extreme Tracking is a free service that will allow you to copy and paste a free site tracker onto your blog or website that’s hosted on a free server.

This site is a useful site in making buttons that stand out on your webpages. The internet is becoming more pleasing to the eye, and you need to maintain your customers’ attention in order to make money on the net. This is a great resource to create buttons that do just that.

Much like the button generator above, this is a resource that will allow you to improve the quality of your blog or website by using visually pleasing backgrounds and designs throughout your web pages.

The internet is no longer about sharp corners and old styles of web design. Today’s online community looks for more sleek design, much like the offline community looks for more impressive asthetics in cars, computers, and technology. Use this to your advangage when it comes to building your website.

Logos are extremely important for your site’s branding. You want to create a logo that will be recognized on someone elses site, or will pop into your readers mind whenever they are seeking information on your current topic.

Neon colors, and flashy graphics are out. Color schemes and on page harmony are in. Make sure your page has a general color scheme by either using the colors from an image, or a banner. This will make your website seem more professional.

To help with branding, you can create a “FavIcon” these are little pictures that appear on the far left of someone’s address bar when they visit your website. This also helps with bookmarking, because your icon will stand out over the rest. This is a great way to add professionalism to your webpages.

This is an extremely important tool to have in your arsenal. Send PDF reports, files, and ebooks using this free printing driver. Free download.

Create a controversy and your traffic will soar

March 14, 2008 by Joseph · Leave a Comment

Every day, I try to do something to bring my site more traffic – which will give me [tag]more prospects[/tag] to contact for my business. Over the years I’ve learned some incredible ways to flood my website(s) with visitors, with many of them becoming excellent business partners.

I’ve actually had a great amount of success in developing new ways to bring targeted [tag]traffic to my site[/tag], and converting that traffic into a customer or prospect. The free and low-cost tools that are available make traffic generation a very effective way to grow a massive business. Anyone can benefit their income by learning a few traffic building secrets that can flood your site with people who are ready to send you money.

If you have been on the planet over the past week, you know that there is a major controversy in the USA that has created a media frenzy. The purpose of this writing is not to debate the morality issue, but I do want to highlight an interesting point about online traffic.

The controversy surrounding the Governor of New York and his paid “friend”, has fueled a massive search on the internet. When the “friend” was identified in the media, visitors began flocking to her free MySpace site to get more information on this person.

The traffic to her free MySpace site ended up shutting down the site. In ONE DAY her MySpace site had received over 5 million visitors. I’m sure the vast majority of visitors to the site are there out of sheer curiosity. The reality is, she is now using this controversy and turning her free MySpace site into a recruiting machine.

Regardless of what we may think of this women, the fact is – she is cunning enough to harness the traffic she is getting to her site into a major income. In the span of a couple days, this controversy created over 200,000 listeners to her music. Downloads were now selling for 98 cents each, and she had over a thousand friend requests in a single day. Imagine what would happen to your business if you had 1000 prospects request information about you or your business? The bottom-line is… this lady has had her income skyrocket as a result of the traffic that has flowed to her free site because of this national controversy.

While I certainly do not support or condone this type of behavior, I do think there is a lesson for online marketers who are trying to generate traffic volume. The simple fact is… [tag-tec]Controversy is an effective tool in generating massive amounts of traffic[/tag-tec].

For those who are interested in building a strong traffic flow, my suggestion would be to find topics that are “hot” in the media and do some writing. Think about ways you can perhaps write on controversial subjects. Share your own perspective on the subject, and perhaps stir the pot a little more. Controversy is a powerful tool in building a steady flow of traffic.
